Another type of roof for your house is the butterfly roof Butterfly is distinguished by its V shape and the two pieces of tandems used to create it. The middle of each piece of tandem is inclined down and they meet at a valley like shape point. This type of roof is ideal in arid areas because it is the best roof for rainwater harvesting. This kind of roof leaves enough space for the installation of large windows.
The fifth roof is the roof type called bonnet. The lower slope of the bonnet roof is less steep in comparison to the upper slope. Some extra living rooms can be created in bonnet roof because it has large space. It also have eaves all around to provide protection to the walls from rain waters.
